Umbelliferae

A small cluster of seed heads drawn around the rim of these bowls. Decorated on both sides of the glass.

One morning as I was walking in the Hirsel there was a low mist just as the sun rose. Every piece of cow parsley was rimmed with a delicate lacy frost from stem to each individual seed. As I looked on blue tits were flying from one plant to another picking out seeds but barely disturbing the line of frost on the plant. Everything was lit with that delicate early morning glow and perfect peace.
