A bunch of day lilies with mayflies
I not great in the garden but even I can grow a few lilies in a pot. I love the variety of colours and petal shape. These flowers are often drawn from life.
I often add bees and bugs to these bowls as they always remind me of hot, hazy, humming afternoons.
I decorate small pieces with this pattern, but each bowl contains just one bloom.
